The EB1 is a multipurpose airborne computer qualified according to DO-160F. With its fully ruggedized but low weight case of only 1.25 kg, it is particularly suitable for extreme conditions in aviation.

The EB1 can be installed as a stand-alone system running with Windows, Linux or other operating systems. With its implemented LTE/4G technology for mobile internet access it offers an ideal platform for a wide range of applications in the aircraft. Furthermore the EB1 can be used as an interface between external systems such as EUROAVIONICS airborne systems (EuroNav 7, ERS) and EUROAVIONICS ground tools (EasyTask) to gather and streamline important information during flight.


Multimedia Onboard System

The EB1 supports Microsoft Windows, Linux and other operating systems. Installed as a stand-alone computer, it can be used during flight as ideal platform for communication purposes, mission software or entertainment programs. Depending on the operating system the EB1 is able to provide all common applications like Internet Browser, PDF reader, Media player, Communication apps, Entertainment apps, etc… in the aircraft.


Interface abilities

As part of the aircraft´s mission avionic, the EB1 is able to interface with third-party equipment to exchange data between the systems and to communicate between aircraft operator and ground station.

When connected with the EUROAVIONICS Product Suite the EB1 develops its full effect among other things, as a remote control for the ERS and as an external Network Attached Storage (NAS) device for the digital video and audio recording.

The low weight (1.25 kg/2.76 lbs) hardware is qualified according to DO-160F and is developed for extreme conditions in aviation.
The dimensions are about 76 (H) x 146 (W) x 170 (D) mm / 2.99” x 5.75” x 6.69”.
The illumination of the pushbottons on the front panel is NVIS compatible. Furthermore all labels on the pushbottons can be adapted to specific customer requirements.
