MF7 / MF8

The MF7 and MF8 compact hardware computer, were designed for various application possibilities. The heart of the platform forms a FPGA together with a high performant multicore processor. Beside the variety of interfaces, they can be equipped with internal IMU or AHRS. Due to the compact and extremely leightweight design, both systems are perfectly suitable for the use in aviation.

 

MF7

The MF7 is a compact versatile hardware for all kind of applications. The heart of the platform forms an FPGA together with a high performant multicore processor. Beside the variety of interfaces, it can be equipped with internal IMU or AHRS.

MF8

The MF8 hardware is based around the Zynq UltraScale+ from Xilinx. It is currently in development, taking into account the requirements for RTCA/DO-160 and RTCA/DO-254. The video interfaces are designed to support High-Definition SDI standards up to 12G-SDI for the acquisition of video data directly on the processing platform. 5V tolerant GPIOs with different capabilities allow for flexible IO on the hardware as well as analog voltage measurement if needed. The MF8 includes a daughterboard interface supporting a high fidelity IMU. A RF daughter board implementing a high speed digital modem is also available.
